Hi, I’m Stephanie. Thanks for stopping by!
First and foremost, I’m a child of a loving Father. He designed me for closeness, to encounter Him in anything and everything. He teaches me daily to see things the way He does: with mercy, tenderness, and delight.
I love people. I love creation. I love being out and about exploring the world He created. I also love tending to my own little garden: my family, my friends, and my home.
I’ve been married to my sweet and very patient husband for 15 years, have been a best friend to my poodle for 8 years, and recently became a mom!
I have a background as an advocate and cheerleader for young people, a companion for the elderly, a happy teacher and guide for English language learners, and a heart for speaking the Word of God.
My passion is to help others see the world I see: full of happiness and joy, real and tangible, here and now. Even punctuated by moments of pain and suffering, I believe that truly connecting with others makes this world a safer, better, and happier place.
microliving to me means living a life with a smaller focus and a smaller footprint. I’ve found God in the tiny things: the friends, the clinking of glasses over a meal, the repairing and mending and righting of my little corner of the planet, the affection of the small creatures of the world: the children and animals, the forgotten and overlooked, the humble and good, the old and young. microliving is taking small steps forward that make a difference in the eternities.
I look forward to getting to know you better, sharing, and learning everything I can about the world around me. Join me on my journey.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
